Do I need to return the Pocket WiFi?
Yes, our pocket Wifi is a rental item, and it needs to be returned.
Please put the pocket Wifi, the AC adapter, and the USB Cable in the prepaid return envelope we provide, and drop it into the mailbox anywhere in Japan by the midnight of the return date. No return fee.
How do I set up the Wifi?
Turn on the WiFi unit by pushing the power button for about 3 seconds
Select the SSID and Enter Password we provide
Can I cancel my reservation?
We issue a full refund when an order is cancelled before 5 days or more prior to the start date(Pick up date). There are some charges for the cancellation made later than that.
Extension will be available for purchase once the Mobile Wi-Fi is sent out.

After not finding any reviews for LightPocket (on any English websites) plus one mention from a 2018 online article, needless to say I was sceptical. Not only did everything go extremely smoothly, the return was a breeze. Delivered to our hotel, English instructions plus return envelope included, charger had an extra USB port, barely any signal loss during our 2 week use, and the Haneda Airport red postbox was near the blue escalators (last pick up 6:25pm). The only thing to flag is your travel group need to be near the router at all times; if you're going to split up, consider SIMs. Was LightPocket's rental worth a go? Absolutely!

A fantastic service. The package had already been delivered to our hotel when we arrived. Set up and use of the Pocket WiFi was very easy. We had full WiFi coverage throughout our trip. Returning it using the return packaging was also easy. We received confirmation that it had been received within 24 hours of putting it in a post box. We were very pleased with the entire experience.
